Întâlnirea cu Secretarul General al ONU António Guterres / Meeting with the United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres

Andrada C. Baba and Aurelian D. Mohan had the opportunity, together with their UNYD colleagues, to meet and discuss with the United Nations Secretary-General, António Guterres, during the 73nd UN General Assembly.

All 67 UN Youth Delegates attending the 73rd UN General Assembly were able to meet and share ideas with António Guterres at a special event that is a long-lasting tradition. This moment, considered to be of paramount importance in the dynamics of youth empowerment at the United Nations, offers the youth a couple of minutes in order to exchange views with the head of the most prestigious intergovernmental organization in the world.

The current UN Secretary-General was adamant about the crucial role played by each and every UN Youth Delegate as liaisons between the UN and youth from various geographical regions. His Excellency stated that UNYDs are responsible for the great communication between young people and supranational organizations.
